AS NANS ULTIMATUM ENDS, SOUTH AFRICANS
MUST LEAVE NIGERIA OR FACE THE
CONSEQUENCES

Being the text of a Press Conference by the
National Association of Nigerian Students
(NANS) led by Comrade Aruna Kadiri on
February 25, 2017 in Abuja.
In continuation of the firm resistance of the
National Association of Nigerian Students
(NANS) of the Xenophobic attacks in the
Republic of South Africa on our compatriots
and their business in their country and the
complicity of the South Africa authorities,
NANS demands the immediate return of all
South African Citizens in Nigeria as their safety
and that of their business interests can no
longer be guaranteed. We must make it clear
that what happened on Thursday February 23,
2017 when we held our sensitisation rally
against xenophobia is a mere child’s play. The
main action will start on Tuesday February 28,
2017 should the South Africa Nationals fail to
heed this generous advice.
Gentlemen of the press, you would recall that
we had issued an ultimatum two (2) days ago
advising South African Citizens to leave Nigeria.
IT IS NOT A JOKE! It is in their interest to keep
themselves and whatever businesses they may
have safe by leaving our country and go home
to cure their misguided, lazy and demented
citizens. Of course for us, no relationship
whatsoever exists between Nigeria and South
African beyond the official diplomatic
pretences.
One may argue that some actions were taken
by South African authorities yesterday against
those xenophobes. We are aware of that deceit
concocted to assuage the enraged civil
communities around the world.
NANS cannot be fooled and we would not back
down until there is an equal measure of
reactions. Nobody can mess with Nigerian
citizens anywhere in the world again without
hearing loudly and clearly from the Nigerian
Students. The Federal Government can remain
aloof, but the students will never! Enough is
enough!
We are now in intensive consultation with our
structures and campuses. And we can state
categorically that as from Tuesday February
28, 2017 the students will rid this great
country of South Africans and whatever
represents them or they represent. We are
determined to ensure that before next
weekend no South African South African
business will remain in Nigeria. We shall keep
both citizens and business that reject our
advice in “Safe Custody”
This is the position of the Nigerian Students at
home and in the Diaspora. Thank you ladies
and gentlemen!
Aluta Continua, Victoria Ascerta!
Comrade Aruna Kadiri
(National President, NANS)

  1. Dear Comrades,
Good day to you! Please, I need the contact number of the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) to discuss a lawsuit between my wife's company (EDMNO INVESTMENTS CC) and MTN GROUP in South Africa.

For proof of this information, you can please read the story online by clicking on this weblink:

MTN Group (South Africa) has arrogantly refused to respond to my the letter sent by my Attorney since July 2016 on the way forward on my lawsuit. MTN Group is doing this because I do not have litigation money to pursue my lawsuit at the South Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg. MTN Group (South Africa) has been dragging this matter pointlessly since 2009 and has been frustrating us because we do not have litigation money to get an Advocate even though our lawsuit has very high merit of succeeding in court. Our lawsuit is very similar to the lawsuit between Kenneth Makate versus Vodacom and the Constitutional Court in South Africa has ordered Vodacom to pay Kenneth Makate for stealing his concept. I have all the documents on our lawsuit and we have met Kenneth Makate and his Advocate last year in Pretoria but still we are lacking litigation money. Vodacom is yet to pay Kenneth Makate else his Advocate (Advocate Cedric Puckrin) would have taken up our lawsuit on contingency fee agreement.

I need the VOICE of NANS to please help me send my story to NEWSPAPER PUBLISHERS in Nigeria and to the hears of Nigeria Government (Minister of communications and Minister of Trade and Industry) about the INJUSTICE that our company in South Africa is experiencing in the hand of MTN Group (South Africa).

MTN Group is owing my wife's company (EDMNO INVESTMENTS CC) a huge amount of money in South Africa. I want this matter raised especially now that South Africa is sending an entourage to Nigeria. I will appreciate if NANS can raise my issue at the forum with the South African dignitaries to know why MTN Group is blocking the payment of our money after MTN made billions of Rands from my concept. MTN Group is directly blocking the flow of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to Nigeria by refusing to pay my company our share of the money that MTN realized from using our concept in 2009 before it was stopped. MTN group is making lots of FDI from Nigeria but the same MTN Group is preventing a Nigerian business (EDMNO INVESTMENTS CC) from succeeding in South Africa! This is INJUSTICE and I am pleading and crying for HELP from NANS!!!

I have reported this matter to NCC (Abuja) through an Abuja based law firm but NCC responded through a letter to the Abuja based law firm that it is not within their jurisdiction since the matter is in South Africa and not Nigeria and NCC advised in that letter that I should take MTN Group to court. I do not have the litigation money and that is why MTN Group is doing this to our company in South Africa. This is INJUSTICE!

I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

    Kind regards,
    Olakunle Nathaniel Olamiju

MTN Group (South Africa) has arrogantly refused to respond to the letter sent by my Attorney since July 2016 on the way forward for MTN Group to settle our company (EDMNO INVESTMENTS CC) in the lawsuit. This is gross arrogance from MTN Group and very undermining too.
